I hope this protest message meets you in good health.
I have taken my time to observe the kind of future you are attempting to create for the youths of Ose Local Government, and quite frankly, it is a disappointing and dangerous path. It would have been commendable if your efforts were focused on grooming people of integrity and substance to represent the interest of the youths. Sadly, you have chosen to frustrate the efforts of sincere individuals who have, for years, worked hard and selflessly to build a united and purposeful youth base in our community.
In the disguise of enforcing rules on your platform, the Ose Concerned Citizens Forum, you removed me and those loyal to me without transparency or explanation. Unknown to the general public, the hidden motive behind this action was your aggressive attempt to destroy the existing structure of Ose Youths Progressive Initiative (OYPI), an organization we have built with years of sacrifice, credibility, and grassroots impact and forcefully replace it with a project driven solely by your personal and selfish ambition.
It is disappointing that despite being fully aware of our long-standing efforts, you suddenly began to claim that no youth organization existed before now. That deliberate erasure of facts is not only false but insulting to the collective intelligence and memory of the youths of Ose. Your motive is clear: power, control, and relevance not development, not service.
Your so-called project was conveniently birthed shortly after the emergence of a duly elected Local Government Chairman. This clearly exposes your inferior motives and political gimmicks. If your intentions were genuine, where were you before now? Why didn’t you initiate or support youth activities when there was no structured leadership? Your timing betrays your sincerity.
We know the truth. We have been here active, visible, and consistent long before your sudden interest. You were not trying to unite the youths; you were trying to hijack an already working structure. And that, sir, is not leadership, it is manipulation.
You may sit comfortably in the United Kingdom and think you understand the dynamics of youth affairs in Ose, but your actions here have been divisive, selfish, and destructive. In your late 50s, one would expect you to play a mentorship role, guiding the younger generation with wisdom and vision. Instead, you have chosen to meddle in our affairs, not to help, but to tear down what we have built.
This message is not borne out of malice it is a clear, unapologetic protest. We are not confused. We are not sleeping. We are patiently watching and documenting your every step and the eventual outcome of your interference. It will be recorded that you were instrumental in trying to destroy the peace and unity that once defined the youth movement in Ose Local Government before your advent.
Respect is earned. And your actions have earned you none.
Sincerely,
Oluwaseun A. Ogunniyi
Chairman, Ose Youths Progressive Initiative (OYPI)
